I was asked and didn't know the answer so I thought I'd take it to here to see if anyone knows anything...
I have a friend with a child that just turned 14. The child has never had an iPhone, iPad, etc. My friend wants to buy them an iPhone as their first mobile. I told him he'd need to setup their account so that they could access his iCloud family sharing (right now it's just him and his wife).
I looked at how to create an Apple ID for him and if their child was under 13 it looked pretty simple and there was an easy way to add a 'child' account to their iCloud family sharing, but because their child is over 13 it looks like they (the child) has to have an Apple ID already setup to be invited to family sharing. Am I wrong? How can you create an Apple ID for someone that's new to Apple and needs and Apple ID? This would be become their primary email address since they don't have anything else.
Any advice or recommendations?
The terminal itself worked well. Anyway the problem is terminal cannot being switched to child process. For an example, I launched bash with NSTask, and if I execute ftp within the bash, it stops automatically. Ftp ftp ftp 1+ Stopped ftp bash-3.2$ And if I try to continue the ftp with fg, it terminates quietly.
